Jake Swinford

Hello! πŸ‘‹

I'm Jake Swinford

Software Developer at Idaho National Laboratory

Glad, you made it here! I'm currently a Software Developer based out of Idaho. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

In my current role at INL within the Digital Engineering Department, I contribute to DeepLynx, an open-source data warehouse.

Before my current role, I worked as a Software Developer at IBM. During this time, I focused on crafting software solutions for federal government clients, building MVPs and POCs. I collaborated closely with the clients to understand their requirements and translate them into innovative software solutions.

While attending the University of Texas at Arlington, I pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics. Additionally, I served as an undergraduate research assistant with the COHE (Complex Oxides Heterostructures and Electronics) group. During that time i developed a probe for testing samples immersed in liquid nitrogen.

Some of my hobbies outside of work include going to the gym, playing video games, and getting into snowboarding during the winter months.
